I recently headed back east to NYC for Bridal Market; which is a big deal for all of us in the wedding industry. It is the time that bridal and haute couture designers give us a preview of the newest in bridal fashions. Many designers took hues from the ready to wear runways featuring lots of peplums but Ines di Santo stayed true to her brand with gowns that sparkle and a single pop of striking color. Reem Acra brought back classic elegance with amazing bridal veils that almost made me shed a tear. Claire Pettibone seduced us with her romantic charm and opulent runway while Austin Scarlett made a memorable premiere into bridal with hand-painted gowns, lavender, luscious pink and a gorgeous break-taking peplum and cape.
I enjoyed salivating over all of the gowns at the runway shows, caught up with some old friends and met a few new ones, attended a few parties and got a chance to hang out with my brother/glam squad Leo Eley but more so I walked confidently in my truth reminding myself that I am so blessed because I still wake up every morning living my dreams!
So please share, which designer inspired you the most this year? Join the Diann Valentine family and share it with us all!
Keep spreading the love,
